ocalagtr store ca.1960′s National Valco Model 22 Tube Guitar Amp 1960′s National Model 22 Amplifier. Quality Valco Made Chicago, IL USA. Serial Number 2-29307. Hand wired point to point 6 tubes. All solid wood 19 in. vertical cabinet. Gold control panel and Coppertone grill cloth. Reverb and Tremolo model. Jensen 12 in. C12R Speaker. Looks 100% original and complete. Cool looking “cut-a-way” front profile cabinet. Complete service done recently by expert amp tech so it does NOT hum, buzz or make any trange noises at all. Untouched chassis with all caps components in spec. Only needed a good cleaning and a few tubes which was taken care of. Looks good and sounds good very much like an early Fender Champ but with reverb and tremolo. Great for practice/bedroom or recording. Loves just about every effect pedal you can plug into it. Tremolo sounds incredible like an old brown Fender amp and reverb is pretty nice too. My 2 cents: I have always loved the tone of a classic tweed Fender Champ but always wished they had reverb, trem and most of all a 12″ speaker. This amp has all of those so its like a dream come true for those who like classic low wattage amps with nice features. This one is a winner and will make the new owner happy for many years to come.
